    I have a javascript function that I would like to have run a calculation upon save and pass the updated field values to the form completion event emails.

    When running the function as a test as a client side event on one of our fields (i.e. first name) it seems to work fine. But when this same code is set to run on save/submit under module configuration it blows up on the first line which is

    funcRadioCalc($(rblTool_FieldId));

    says that an uncaught error occurred is there any reason that this command would work in one place and not the other?

    Hello brightspectrum,

    I believe that the on Submit JavaScript section does not render tokens.

    Can you please inspect the field "rblTool" and find the HTML ID? Once you find the ID associated with this Radio button group, try passing that into funcRadioCalc:

    funcRadioCalc('rbTool_HTML_ID_GOES_HERE');

    I know this is hardcoded, but the only other way that you could implement this is to make a custom HTML button that becomes the Submit button on the page. Then embed your funcRadioCalc call when the button is clicked. You can learn more about custom Submit buttons here:

    Review and let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
