Hi,

I am trying to use the Dynamic Views for the first time.

After installing the DV Module (1.0.5.25948 / 7.0.1), I clicked on the "Setup Initial Settings" link.

For Data Source, I clicked on "Dynamic Forms Instance"
When I clicked on the drop down list, I don't see any thing under "Dynamic Forms Instance" from which to select mine.

I see this error at the bottom of the page...

Please help me with this...

Dynamic Views 1.0.5 is not compatible with DNN 7. This version of Dynamic Views was developed several years ago, I want to say 2009 or 2010. DNN 7 didn't exist when this version of Dynamic Views was developed so there's no way to have successfully tested these version.


I would recommend upgrading to Dynamic Views 3.1.0 which is our latest available version. You may want to upgrade all of your modules. Sounds like you may have an older Collection, like Collection 3.0 or so. If you do, I would recommend upgrading to our Collection 6.0. I'd be happy to provide you a 10% discount on your upgrade.
