What would you recommend the best way to go about a form that registers a possible multiple children's names and b-day's?

The registration is for the parent and the form includes one line for a childs name and b-day. Ideally there would be a link next to this that "add another child" which would open up an additional name and bday field with and added link "add another child" etc.

Would you recommend just setting up 4 or so hidden child fields and make them visible once the add child button is clicked, or is there a better way to do this?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    Hello Dan,

With Dynamic Registration the way you mentioned would be the most practical route to handle this.

You may have 4 rows of Questions, 1 row per Child. You can then have a combo box with values 1, 2, 3 and 4. Then display the correct number of Child Rows based on their selection using Question Events.

A much more advanced approach that I use all the time is Dynamic Registration and OpenWebStudio within a single page and integrate these two modules together to act as one. Dynamic Registration can be responsible for registering the user and creating a user account within DotNetNuke while OpenWebStudio can be configured to create an advanced Child management control, allowing the Registrant to Manage their Children.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
