Hi, i created a DF page in DNN 7.1 on my development website/server.
Im trying to export the page to xml and import the mod to my live production site that runs DNN 6.

The problem is that when i go to import the xml DNN 6 cannot see the file to import even when i put it in the root directory.

I did a little research and i looks like i may have to remake the page on the new instance using the older version.

    help???

    Hi Eric,

So basically when you go to import the file it does not exist or you do not see it? A couple of quick questions for you.

    1. Did you rename the file? You need to make sure the exact filename does not change.

    2. When you uploaded the file, do you see it? Do you see it under Admin, File Manager?

    Thanks,

    Chad

Oh - Make sure after you uploaded the file to the new site you also choose "Sync Files and Recursive" under Admin, File Manager.

    Thanks,

    Chad
