    Hi,

    I am trying to capture the output from a SQL event like the manual states but I can't seem to get the output to render in the email message.  It always come out $(SQLResponse_GetLJPlan) where GetLJPlan is the SQL event name.  I know the query returns results.  I have verified that the SQL event occurs before the EMail event through sort order and watching the debug mode output. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    Tony

    Hi Tony,

    That should work... Do you see the same response in an email event?

    Here is the code that is replaced...

    If strMySQL.IndexOf("$(SQLResponse") >= 0 Then
    'There are posted responses that need processing.
    'Session("PostedResponse
    Dim objPostEvent As DynamicEventInfo
    For Each objPostEvent In MyEvent.GetDynamicEventsByModule(ModuleId)
    If objPostEvent.EventType = "SQL" Then
    strMySQL = strMySQL.Replace("$(SQLResponse_" & objPostEvent.EventName & ")", Session("SQLResponse_" & objPostEvent.EventName))
    End If
    Next
    End If

    I see in the code where we are setting the session variable too... So I am not really sure what the deal is. Can you try both an email event and also try to enable "Debug Mode" and let me know what SQL splits out?

    Thanks,

    Chad

    The email event appears to work correctly except for the missing SQL output. Here is the debug output:

    ***DYNAMIC FORMS DEBUG MODE ON***

    DotNetNuke Version: 7.1.0
    Web.Config Trust Level: Unrestricted

    Hi Tony,

    Hmm.... You might need to open a support ticket within the DNN store so I can take a closer look at this and test against the 5.0 beta possibly. Not sure why this would not work... I would need to test on our test site.

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Thanks,

    Billy
