Has anyone had any experience with giving a non admin user access to a simplified interface for creating a form. Basically what we want to do is give a specific role the ability to create basic forms. We are going in the direction of using a dynamic form that will execute a stored procedure on completion that will create a new page (using a DNN page template) with a new DF module on it preconfigured with a form with basic fields on it.

Ideally we'd like to give the user a bit more flexibility in selecting field Names & types and values for multiselect and combo box fields.

Does anyone know of an easier approach to accomplish what we want to do?

    Hello Patrick,

This will probably be permission based by security roles assigned to the user account.

So once the user submits the form that creates a new page with a simple Dynamic Form on it, assign a specific Role to this user account. You can then make the "default" Dynamic Form that was generated for this user, Editable by the security role you assigned. This way only the module will be editable and not the entire page.

Please let me know if this makes sense or if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
