How can radio button selection be made required. Setting the required flag in validation does not seem to do anything.

Hi. Well radio button field types require server side validation. Under validation configuration do you have both client side and server side turned on?

    Jack,

Hi. Is there a default value set for the field? Does the form redirect and are the results saved properly? If so, can you duplicate this on www.betasprings.com (login as host/dnnhost). This will help us to review the issue and determine if this is a bug or a configuration issue.

    Hi,
There is no default value, the form redirects and the results are saved correctly.

I have tried to recreate the form at betasprings (http://www.betasprings.com/tabid/55...ault.aspx) using an export from my form and the form on betasprings is a newer version and the radio buttons don't even show....

    (I think I have bought V2.3)

Has this been fixed in the upgrade? & is it a free upgrade?

I am having this problem too. When I view the link to the betasprings test from Abstracts I can see the radio button errors out.

I have server and client validation checked in my Module Configuration, I have required field, error message set in question validation, but the radio buttons will not error out if left unchecked.

HI Amy, what version of DNN and DF are you using? Also, if possible, can you use the "Contact Us" email and send us the XML content of your DF form, referencing this forum so we can test out your DF page on our localsystem to see what the deal is? Thanks. -- David

I just purchased DNN skin 5.0 a few days ago and now I have some trouble with the radio button on the form.
The skin that I purchased has form and list module so I added it to my page and I tried to put the radio buttom on the form, but I have no clue how to add the radio button. Some people said I have to use html code, but there was no space to put html code on the "Form and List Configuration"
Please help me out how to put the radio button on the form.

Hi, I don't quite exactly understand your message. You said the SKIN you purchased has form and list module on it. Is it our Dynamic Forms module? Can you check under Host / Module Definitions and see what version of Dynamic Forms you are using? Please get back with me on this. Thanks. -- David
