Correct SQL not working on tailored HTML
I entered the following SQL statement into SQL under host on my dotnetnuke portal and it worked correctly by displaying all users on the portal with their security roles. But when I created a SQL Culkin on the tailored HTML module it and then I put that token on the screen for unauthorized. Well it only showed the #1, which I believe it is the first column on the first row.
Select * from easycgi_dnn_userroles
I am surprised that it didn't show at least all of the columns in row one.
I could create an SQL statement like this:
Select * from easycgi_dnn_userroles where ArticleID=$(ArticleID)
In the SQL above $(ArticleID) a token created for the variable passed in through the querystring called ArticleID.
3 things relating to this is that
1) I would think this SQL statement would return rows containing the cell titled ArticleID and that each column in each row would be shown for each row.
2) seeing what happens with the SQL for showing all the User Roles not sure and all the rows or all the data in a row is there some kind of looping needed. If SQL testing screen on the dotnetnuke portal doesn't need looping then why would tailored HTML?
3) for showing each cell in a row could I create an SQL token for each cell in a row? Should I do something like this
>>
Select firstname from easycgi_dnn_userroles where ArticleID=$(ArticleID)
