    I have 2 commands that I have specified on "Initial Import Only":.

    1) Email the user with their username and generated password.
    2) Set the UpdatePassword to true

    These get executed for every user when the Update User option is selected. Is there another setting somewhere that is needed for this to work?

    1) add "distribute email" event which include $(UserName) and $(Password).

    2) I have the same issue to set UpdatePassword to force changing password. I will first note down the UserID of the last record in [Users] table. For example the UserID is 1234. Then execute the import. Afterwards execute the following SQL statement either in SQL Server Manager or in DNN. I have never tried adding it as SQL event of the import process, 'cos I'm not sure about it's running sequence.

    UPDATE    Users
    SET              UpdatePassword = - 1
    WHERE     (UserID > 1234)

    Right now, the module only seems to support the more 'visible' user fields, like username, displayyname, etc.
    It would be a big enhancement if you could also set other stuff like UpdatePassword, Authorized, etc.

    Yes Erics suggestions and tips for the using the SQL Event for the updatepassword flag should work along with his email event for sending the username and password?
