I just purchased the Flash Image Rotator module and loaded it in DNN 4.3.3.  I can get the first image to display, but the rest of my images do not display at all.

Can anyone help me on this?  I checked the associated XML file and it has all of my images listed.  Permissions?

Hi. I would check and make sure you are using JPG images only. Flash has some problems with GIF images. Also make sure your images are saved in baseline format if you continue to have problems, you can verify they are saved in baseline format by re-saving them in Microsoft Paint.

We have V3.1 ready and will be releasing it soon. This version includes a 'preview' link within the settings and fixes some of the caching issues as well.

Thanks, I finally got it working....    Do all of the images have to be the same size as well?   Also, when adding new images to the rotator, they don't show up right away.  Will this be taken care of by the updated caching feature?

    Thanks

    Geoffrey,

Hi. I sent you the updated pre-release of 3.1 that includes some new features including the caching enhancements. Have you been able to install it yet?

Hi. I'm having a similar problem. I have just purchased this product and loaded the module into DNN 4.3.3 and 4.3.5, and in both versions i cannot get any images to be displayed at all. I have followed earlier instructions by making sure that the images are baseline jpg, by resaving in ms paint. I have also resized the images to the exact size of the rotator, yet still not even a hope of it working. When i right click on the player (after letting it reload) i get a message saying "Movie not loaded..."
    Can any one help?

    Thanks.

v3.2 here - it previews fine from within the module settings page, but doesn't even come up on the actual display page.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

The display started working after moving to a different pane (?).

I doubt I'll have time to figure out the cause since the new pane location is where it needed to be anyway.

    Hi

I''ve just purchased the 3.2 Flash Image Rotator and am running it in DNN Version 4.6.2.  It won't display at all in IE7 however it runs really well in IE6 & Firefox.

    Anyone else experienced this?

The module does EXACTLY what my Client wants so I really hope I can get to the bottom of this!

I've used it with IE7 and have noticed that it doesn't like any spaces in the image file name(s) and won't display them. But I don't know whether IE6 or Firefox handles them any better. So you might try renaming images if this is the case for you.

HI Benjamin, I replied to you on email. I tried a test case with exact settings as yours with the same FIR version 3.2 and it works fine on mine. -- David

My copy of Dynamic Image Rotator Module 3.2 is not displaying any images on my DotNetNuke 05.06.01 website. Here are steps I have taken:

    1) I installed the Dynamic Image Rotator Module 3.2 in my DotNetNuke 5.06.01 website with no errors.

    2) I added the module to the front page of my website, then selected manage settings. I then added a jpg image with the size of 446 x 272 and set the flash object width and height text boxes with those values.

    3) When I press update and viewed the front page and all I see is a black background where the image is suppose to be. You can view it at http://spokanevalleyfire.stage.bisc.com/

I have tried several things like changing the image size in the settings, moving the module to a different pane, using different images, and changing setting. None of these have worked.
