Yes, this is related to 'Postback' from ASP.NET applications. In the past in order to maintain form values and viewstate the form fields were only rendered upon initial loading of the form. Changing this requires a major over-haul but is necessary in order to have fields that offer post back. With recent field types though such as Date field do require postback so the changes have been made. So... This will be fixed in the next release. Additionally now that this has been changed adding even more fields and options will be available. We hope to release functionality for things such as optional server side validation, default a value based on another value (from drop-down lists or radio button etc...). Ability to hide a question based on the answer to a previous question, etc...
