    Hi there!

     

    I am having problems with displaying several fields in one row, please see below example:

     

    Please advise the following information about the agent's business:

    Domestic ____%      International ____%

     

    Instead it shows:

    Please advise the following information about the agent's business:

    Domestic ____%                                             International ____%

     

    I tried playing around with the col and row spans, but to no avail.

     

    Also tried the gridview, but noticed that this unfortunately does not have a text entry option.

     

    Any suggestions on how to reduce the space between two fields in the same row would be welcome.

    HI, what type of field is "Please advise the following ..."? Is it a text/html field? Set this to a column span of 10 and row span of 1. For the "Domestic" and "International" textbox fields, set the row span and column span to 1. See if this works for you. If you still have problems, please export your form to www.betasprings.com (username: host, password: dnnhost) and we'll take a look at fixing the issue for you. -- David

    Thanks for your quick reply!

     

    The line "Please avise etc" is a text/html field. I set the col span to 10 and row span to 1 as instructed, but still the same issue.

     

    My form needs several headers with small text entry fields such as:

     

    Age of clients:

    Under 40 y/o                             40/70 y/o                         Over 70 y/o

    _________%                           _______%                      ________%

     

     

     

    If I have to put them all underneath it would be a very long form ...

     

    I uploaded the example on betasprings under "Sandra - Display fields in same row".

    Strangely, on your test site the two fields are closer together than on my site. Still not close enough though.

    HI Sandra, can you try to unhide the labels, get rid of the Question Header and also change the label width to a smaller number under Module configuration such as 75 and see if it will display better? -- David
