    I have a database named 'sfntcweb'. There is a table in it called 'dbo.Brands'. I want to return all rows in this column (in dbo.Brands) called 'Name'.

    So my SQL query to be used in Dynamic Forms is . . .

    SELECT Name AS QuestionOption, Name AS QuestionOptionValue FROM sfntcweb.dbo.Brands Order By QuestionOption

    It works on my local dev PC, but when I tried this on my dev server (which has the exact same DNN and DB set up), the SQL code returned the message "Error in SQL!"

    Can someone point out what am I missing when I am trying to do it on this server?

    If you execute this code under Hots, SQL do you get results? Does the site or database use object qualifiers? You might also try adding 'GO' to the very end of the SQL query.

    I have this sql
    INSERT INTO RequestQuote_Form
    (FORM_sFirstName,FORM_sLastName)
    VALUES
    ('$(FirstName)','$(LastName)') ..when a user enters a single quotation in Firstname or Lastname fields in the form, my sql breaks.. Any idea of how to replace or remove quotations please? thanks!

    What version are you running on? It should be replacing ' with ''' before it actually gets executed specifically for this purpose. You might also be able to use the SQL replace function to handle this as well.
