    Hi,

    I have two pages.In one page i have created a table through dynamic sql statement and inserted data in to that.

    In another page i want to update that table data.How to do it using dynamic forms module and dynamic sql statement.

    Pls help me.

    HI, yes it can be done strictly with dynamic forms (although normally, for something like this, we would utilize a listing module such as Dynamic Views, Open Web Studio or DNN Reports module) along with Dynamic Forms. But if you only want to use Dynamic Forms to insert/update/delete a custom SQL table, here's the best way to do this:

    On the first page, you have set it to insert data into the SQL table.

    On your second page, have two dynamic forms module, with the top form having a combobox (SQL driven option to select the primary key from your SQL table as the optionvalue). Make sure the shortname for this combobox is DSParam1. Also set this field to pass and retrieve from querystring variable. Also under module configuration / general settings, have it redirect to the same URL.

    On the bottom DF module, under Module Configuration / Initial SQL Rendering Bind, enable this with the initial query:

    select * from tablename where columnname = '$(DSParam1)'

    This form should have all the shortfield names of the SQL table column names (as well as the DSParam1 which would be a hidden field retrieve from querystring). In your completion event, perform an update SQL statement where foreignkeyname = '$(DSParam1)'
