    Hi,
I am working on a one page form that is visible only to registered users. I provide them with a link to this form to fill it out.
I would like my users to be able to submit it only once. Any subsequent opening of this page should retrieve all selections made by that user on a previous page visit thus not allowing them to submit their responses multiple times.
How can I retrieve form data based on a logged user?

    Thank you,
    Pawel

    Hi Pawel,

This can be done easily.  Just go to Module Configuraton, General Settings and mark the setting that says "Only allow form submission once per user."

    Thanks!

    Thank you for you response.
This partially solves the problem though. Is there a way to provide a user, in the Single Submission Notice, with a link to edit their form?

    Thank you,
    Pawel

Hmmm...do you want the same user to edit their entry or do you want another (admin) user to access their form results and make changes?

I don't think we can restrict submission if you want the user to edit their own responses directly from the form.

Actually, you might consider using Dynamic Views.  You can limit displays by the user's submissions only.  Then you can also create action buttons that can help manipulate the data with SQL.

Check out Demo 30 in www.datasprings.com/formdemos to see an example of Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Views working together.  Thanks!

I want the same user to be able to change their entry. I know I can generate an email with the link to the user's form but since the he is identifiable in the system I thought there would be a way to brings his data back to the initial form.
One option would be to populate a form using initial SQL rendering. Another would be your suggestion to use Dynamic Views
    Thank you,
    Pawel
