Errors - not sure I know the answer to that... in IE8, they are the errors that are displayed if you double-click the error icon on the left side of the status bar after it says "Error on page" or "Done but with errors". Sorry for my ignorance on that one.
It seems to only be happening on existing forms. I added a new form and didn't immediately see the same issues (which disproves my other theory that I was starting to cook up that it was due to either a new skin or module we added on that site, even though neither are used on the same page as the form).
Yes, it still happens if I try to work on the form using Firefox instead of IE8. Got this error:
