I have a question event setup on my form that drives how many combinations of a 3 field group appears... the question asks "How many associates at your location" and depending on the answer, displays 1 - 5 sets of Associate, Relationship, Carrier. When I select an answer from the dropdown, it displays correctly... however, if I then select a different number from the drop-down, it redisplays the right number of fields, but the textbox is missing on some of them (the label is still there). Any idea what could be causing this?? |

Sorry, one more update... question events are actually clearing out the textboxes (but leaving the field label) for other questions not related to any question events. I just saw this when testing a change to the form... after the first question event, all textboxes in the 2nd column of the form disappeared. |

Hi Cheryl - Can you maybe attach some screenshots? So the field doesn't exist at all or the field is just cleared out?

Hi Cheryl,
Let me make sure I understand. The Question Events are causing textbox fields to disappear while the textbox labels continue to show, is that correct? So it still shows what the field is for but no where to input the response?
That's very strange. Could you test a couple of things:
1. Does it behave the same way if use a different browser -- IE, Firefox, etc.?
2. Do you experience the same problem if you switch to a standard DNN skin?
3. From Host, Module Definitions, what is your exact module name and version? Also what DNN version are you running?

Candace - yes, what you described is exactly what I was seeing. I am running DF 3.40.10 and DNN 5.05.01. It was happening in all browsers I tried. I don't think it's the skin since I wasn't seeing this before and haven't changed the skin.
It actually doesn't seem to be happening now, just a few hours later though, which is strange...

Hi. I guess if it start happening again please see if you can setup a quick demo highlighting the problem on www.betasprings.com (sign in as host/dnnhost). If you can duplicate it there we can usually get a patch out much quicker.
