Checkbox group - not validating required

    Hi,

    I have a checkbox group on my form - the required flag is checked.  I want the user to select at least one item. 

    However, they can submit the form successfully without selecting an item.  It doesn't appear the the logic to make checkbox groups mandatory works...

    Any ideas?

    Under general settings, do you have both client and server side validation turned on?

    Hello guys,

    Well, at least in the case of the checkbox group, this kind validation is not supported, as the nature of this kind of lists allows you to have everything unchecked.

    Your only way out of this is to use your own validation routine via javascript (by messy means using the blur of a required subsequent text field as the trigger) or by using a Listbox... which isn´t as classy but equally works.
