    Ok ... we're running DF 3.4 on DNN 5.6.1

On one of the forms when clicking submit it should create a row in the db and pass back the value of the unique id field (it would actually be a guid) so that it can be stored in a cookie for use elsewhere.

The page never refreshes though because its setup to use Ajax form submission.  How can this be accomplished in this scenario?

    Hi,

Right now there is not a feature within Dynamic Forms that allows you to 'retrieve' back a response from a SQL Event. We have recently added features (not yet documented but part of the most recent patch) which allow you to retrieve the response from an HTTP Post and use it in another email or SQL event but we have not yet added this to Dynamic Forms yet.

Your best bet (since its a GUID) is to use the build-in token called $(UniqueCompletionID). This token can be available as a session variable but more importantly you can already reference and use it as a GUID. So basically you already have a GUID you can use and don't need to let one be auto generated etc?

    Hope this helps!
