    i have fields on my form that i need when i save the data.  These fields mean nothing to the end user so i wanted to hide them.  Once i hide them the application stopped working.  my process uses them and works fine when not hidden.  Does hiding a field make it not usable?

    Hi Nicholas - You will need to make sure you choose the field type of "Hidden" and not actually "Hide by role" or "Hide until forced visible by question event". As long as these represent the "Hidden" field type thenyou should still be able to access them... Otherwise if you are actually hiding them you will never be able to access any of the data and no responses for that field will be saved to the database.

    I made them hidden and the same setup that worked when they were just textboxes doesn't work now.  is there any other things i need to do in order to get this to work?  is the order of the fields important?  Should the hidden fields be before or after the other fields?
