I have an Initial Postback Question that is a Yes/No radio button.
The Affected Question is also a Radio Button, "Submit To", with 4 options - Supervisor, COO, CFO and Legal. The default is Supervisor.
When I tick the radio button next to "CFO" and click Update Question Event, the new default value is not saved.
I'm using DF 4.0.12, DNN 6.2.3
Am I missing something?
Thanks.

Is there a setting in the question that affects the way this works?
Thanks |

Hello SK, So this is an issue with configuring a Question Event in Dynamic Forms? Funny thing, is that I've recently ran into a similar issue like this with Dynamic Forms. However the issue seemed to be that I had multiple values in my radio button group that shared the same value. Please make sure that every radio button in your group has a different value or else this could be the culprit. Also if this isn't the case, then please install Dynamic Forms 4.1.4. This is the latest patch available for Dynamic Forms. It should be available to you at Store.DotNetNuke.com. Login as the same account that you used to purchase Dynamic Forms, and go to My Download and search for Dynamic Form Patches. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Ryan

Hello SK, Great to hear, can you please post what your issue was? Many people overtime will review this forum post and if we leave this as it is, it won't appear to contain what the issue was and how the issue was resolved. Thanks, Hope you have a great weekend. -Ryan

I had 4 completion events based on a field titled "Department" - a drop down selection list of various departments. If the user selected Programming, the first department on the list, it reset the default value of the radio button group to the fist button selection Supervisor. If the use selected the second item on the list (Operations), the second radio button (COO) was set to default... and so on. Once I removed all but one of the questions evnts, i could save the competion event and what the updated default item was saved. |
