i have been wading through older posts but unfortunately can not find a sufficient answer to my problem:
I have a combo box wich works fine together with other dependent combos boxes or list boxes but now i only want to show the visible option from the combo box (the text, not the underlying value) in another DF HTML field.
The HTML field should show some additional text around the option the user has chosen from the combo box.
That means the combo box is set to the option "Cars" by the user with the underlying value (ID from the SQL table) of 17.
And now the HTML field should display:
"You have chosen 'Cars' as your option!"
My combo box' SFN is $(CmbBx) and my HTML field SFN is $(HTMLfld)
The only thing i could achieve so far, is that my HTML field shows '17' and that is because i set the HTML content to: $(CmbBx)
But how can i make the HTML field show the option plus additional text?
any help greatly apreciated.
