Form not sending Dynamic Email

    Ok, after resolving a local email server issue, I am still unable to get an email to fire off upon form completion.

    Things I've tried:

    • First, I checked my SMTP Settings via the Host Settings page in DNN, sends off a test message that I receive just fine.
    • In "Form Completion Events" I setup a new event called "Email", for Dynamic field I have tried "-Any Field Response-" as well as setting up a method of contact selection (check boxes), and designating that as the required item (email option),
    • I have attempted removing all required fields
    • I have removed the option for the module to redirect on form completion, both in the Module Config and via a form completion event.

    I feel like I'm ready to tear my hair out and I'm sure it's probably something incredibly obvious, but I could use any tips / advice.

    Hi Net,

    Thanks for the detailed message.  Can you try this little test for me, please?  Go to Admin, Newsletters and see if you can successfully send yourself a message from here.  Let me know what happens, ok?

    Candace,

    I went to the Admin->Newsletters page and sent off an email to myself, it processed and sent correctly, still no luck on the DynamicForms module though.

    Ok, thanks for doing the test.  When hit submit on your form, does it redirect to the right page?

    Basically, I'm trying to see if the form is processing at all. The form failing to process correctly is the most common reason for the completion events not to fire (since the form is not completing in the first place).

    I think you were working with Chad for a while so I apologize for duplicate questions. Have you had the chance to set up your form over at betasprings.com? If not, can you please do so (use host/dnnhost to log in) and let me know the name of your form?
