Wanted to add the very first post to the new Product Forums module!

For customers that are integrating our Opt In Email product with Dynamic Registration, depending on which module was installed first you might need to execute the attached script. This script will allow you to choose which opt in email categories you would like to have integrated with Dynamic Registration.

You can get the script here:

    http://www.datasprings.comuserguide...ration.zip

After downloading open up the SQL script within the zip file and execute it under Host, SQL.

Hi. More than likely this can happen if your site uses object qualifiers (i.e. DNN_Table). Please open a support ticket for this and we can get an updated script for you to run etc...

Yes, it works when I add object qualifier in script.
    Thanks a lot.

FYI - I needed to run this script after installing Opt-in after Dynamic Registration. The script failed initially not because of the object qualifier but because the Store Procedures already existed. I changed the script entries from "CREATE" to "ALTER" and was successful at getting everything to work properly.

I am getting still getting the "Unable to load Opt In Email Categories. Please review this: forum post." message after running the script. I am not versed in SQL and a newbie to DNN. Can you direct me on what to do next?

    Ann,

Hi. Well if your site uses object qualifiers you would need a SQL script that included these. I am attaching an updated SQL script to reflect the {objectqualifier} parameter.

After unzipping the attached file simply open the contents of the .SQL file into notepad and then copy them into the textbox under Host, SQL. Check the box that this is a SQL Script and click execute. After this you should receive a sucess message if everything went ok.

    Let me know!

Also... I uploaded the updated script to the same location so that we won't run into this down the road. The updated script also removes any old stored procedure just case in case it was already added.

I also uploaded it as standard text in case you don't want to have to unzip it you can just load this text file and copy/paste the contents under Host, SQL.

Ok... So both modules are installed and when you go to execute the SQL script did you receive any specific errors or did it go smoothly?

Does your site use object qualifiers? And just to confirm that Opt In Email module was installed right? You might go ahead and open a support ticket for this and if possible provide us with temporary host access so that we can review why this isn't working properly.

Hi. You can open the support ticket on Snowcovered.com (just login with the same username and password as you purchased the module with on there)
