I cannot get a multiline textbox on my form to accept a line break. The enter key submits the form instead of entering a line break. So does ctrl-enter, shift-enter and alt-enter.

HI, yes multiline textbox does not render in HTML which is why "enter", etc. doesn't carry over. You should consider using the Rich Text Editor instead if you want control characters to be properly rendered in HTML. -- David

It's odd that you can't get a multiline text box to function correctly, since many of the text boxes on the DF forms themselves DO accept enter to start a new line (for example, the text box for example text under advanced field options).

    Tracy,

Hi. Yes, under module configuration there is a setting 'Enter key forces form submission'. If you disable this setting your multi line textbox should work properly.
