I get the following error while installing DF 3.0 trial (the 2.7.5 trial was allready installed before):

 I believe the main thing is: Die SQL-Ausführung hat folgende Fehler verursacht: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: In der Datenbank ist bereits ein Objekt mit dem Namen 'DynamicForms_DynamicResultsTemplate' vorhanden

this means

the sql-exec causes an error: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: there is allready an object in the database called 'DynamicForms_DynamicResultsTemplate'

I can install the 2.7.5 trial without error but not the 3.0 trial.

Which tabled do I have to clean manualy? Aftern uninstalling the module, this messeage still comes up.

HI Jorg, first of all, if you have any DF pages on your website, be sure to export the content as XML file so you have a copy of it. After you've completely un-installed DF trial version 2.7.5 and 3.0, all your SQL tables should disappear and you will lose all your previous form data unless you EXPORT your contents first.

Now let's assume you've exported all your contents and have uninstalled both trial versions. Based on the message you're getting, you must still have the 'DynamicForms_DynamicResultsTemplate' table hanging so you can drop this table. If you have SQL server management studio, you can do it there. If not, go to HOST / SQL, be sure to check the checkbox for "execute as script" and then type in:

drop table DynamicForms_DynamicResultsTemplate

Then try installing DF 3.0 trial again and see if this works for you. -- David

thanks for your support.
I will try to do this steps and give you an update of what happend.

One more question: this problem causes on our Intranet with the trials of DF. Because there are till now no forms, it's no problem to uninstall and clean the module. Not so on our website. There are a lot of forms and one main-form wich interacts with a digital catalog and UserDefinedTable. This form is in use. I don't want to export all forms and then reinstall them. Is it better to wait a view more days to get the latest update before updating? We are using 2.7.5 (no trial) on our website.

I did the steps you mentioned.
After uninstalling the trials, I did the following:

drop procedure DynamicForms_AddDynamicResultsTemplateInfo

drop table DynamicForms_DynamicResultsTemplate

Afterwards I was able to install DF 3.0 trial without getting an error.

If you have a lot of forms on your website, then DON'T UNINSTALL the DF module. Simply install the latest release on top of the old one and it should work seamlessly. If it does error, please reply with the error and we can go from there. Although saving your forms (by exporting) is a good backup procedure to have in case anything happens. But then again, the web hosting company should be running daily / weekly backups of your DNN database. -- David
