    Hi,

     

    I've got two lists, one for Country and one for Region. Both are populated dynamically using SQL, based on instructions I found on this forum.

     

    I want the region list to appear if United States is selected, so I've created a Question Event and set the "Initiation / Postback Question:" to the Country list and the "Affected Question:" to the Region list. This is working. However, I need to select the "Initiation Response:", but the related list is disabled. The first record in the "Initiation / Postback Question:", titled "Select Country", is showing correctly, but I can't modify the list to select United States, so I can't get the behaviour I'm looking for.

     

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hmmm... This might be a bug related to combo box question types and question events etc... We will review this as a bug but you might try a work around, you might try changing the field type to be radio button, then go save the question event as you wish and finally go back and change the field type to be dropdownlist. If this doesn't work you could always modify the question events table directly (DynamicRegistration_DynamicquestionEvent) to change the response to be correct (column Postbackvalue) until a fix is ready.

    Thanks for the response. I've simplified the country/region combos and now I just have a country drop-down and a region text field, which works pretty well.
