    Hi,

I would like members of a certain user role to be able to Manage Users, but not give them the ability to change field options, etc. Currently, the only way a user can access the Manage Users interface is if their user role is given Edit permissions for the module, which also gives permission to modify the form fields, etc., which is troublesome. Is there a way around this, or do you plan changes in this area in the future?

    Thanks,

    Ethan

Hi. Here is how this feature will be rolled out in 2.5. There will be a new section called 'Security' where you can specify security roles allowed to a. manage users and b. manage questions/settings. This will be seperate from admin/host users who will always have the rights to do this. So in other words the module will be upgradeable and you won't have to worry about it causing problems and youll be able to specify different roles for managing users and questions etc...

When do we think (roughly) 2.5 will be coming out? We're busy trying to code that ourselves at the moment. Would be great to not have to :-)
