First, I'm somewhat a rookie, I'm helping a non-profit company... so CSS and like tech is not my speciality...
We have a Full Width site, and when I put multiple questions on the same line, the questions are spread across the width of the parent table. No amount of futzing with the colspan and widths available seems to help.
To hack this out in text, if SS is the start of a box, and EE is the end of a box and bbbbbbbbbbbb is the width of the box... you'll get the idea.
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
ss________ee ss________ee ss________ee
What I want is:
bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
ss________ee ss________ee ss________ee
Essentially, the calculated set of Columns is distributed with a percentage width to the container above. There is more space between the three cells containing the label/box, than there is in the three boxes themselves.
After three hours chasing this one, I'm missing something obviuos... Any Ideas ?
