Using Dynamic Forms 3.0 and DNN 40904, we have a problem where 2 of 3 email completion events appear not to fire.  Here are the details:

    - 3 Dynamic completion events having idential "From" email addresses and identical "To" email address.

    - All are set for Dynamic field to "Any Field Response", User Response = "equals".

    - Ajax is disabled.

    - On localhost, all three emails are correctly sent.

    - On Live Site, only the first email is sent (Sort order 0).  The only change on moving the to Live Site was to change the "From" email to the hosted domain email accounts.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks for your help.

    -DL

HI DL, can you check under Admin / Event Viewer on the live site and see if there's any SMTP error messages? -- David

There is not an SMTP error.

However there is a general exception relating to loading FCK setting.  The stack trace message is shown below.

There is additional information and a correction.  The email that is actually sent is the 3rd (not the 1st) in the sort order.  That message is the "Generate Full Results" template.   The other two messages with which there is a problem are to a different "To" address and the message body is composed in the FCK editor.

    Hope this helps.

    The stack trace message is:

Message: System.Exception: Error loading FCK setting (HTML Encode output) ---> System.FormatException: String was not recognized as a valid Boolean. at System.Boolean.Parse(String value) at DotNetNuke.HtmlEditor.FckHtmlEditorProvider.Fckeditor.LoadFCKCTLSettings(Boolean mAdmin) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

How about changing the "From Email" to your email address and see if all three emails will get sent out? If it does, then there's some settings that's not allowing it to send to the other two user's email address based on the "From Email". -- David

    Good morning

The "From" address for all 3 messages is the same.  The only message getting out is the message based on the DF mail template.

Also, the general exception error refers to a problem loading FCK, not with SMTP or an address.

Is there something dfferent about using your template that is different from a message composed ad hoc in the FCK editor?

By the way, we had the same problem (that is to say, only the template message would get sent) when testing on our localhost.  The fix then was turning off Ajax.   Can you think of some sort of relationship between these issues?

Hi DL, on your first post you said all 3 messages are sent out on your localhost. The only thing that has been changed on the Live site is the "From Email" address. Well, as a test, perhaps two of the emails being sent to on Live site doesn't like the "From Email". That's why I was wondering if you can change the "From Email" address to something else on the Live site (such as your email address) for all three email events as opposed to the hosted domain email accounts. -- David
