I have a form with about 20 email events.  I added a form field and tried to update the email events.  After checking around, I checked the "Disable AJAX within module configuration" and "Disable form AJAX" boxes.  However, I still cannot update my email events.  My thought wass that I use skin widgets (so I have the "enable skin widgets" box checked in site settings), so AJAX is still being loaded.  However, I unchecked that and I am still unable to update my events.

    Help!?

    Environment:
    Windows Server 2008 x64
    DNN 5.1.1
    Dynamic Forms 3.0

Update:  I found a workaround by using "Basic Text Box" and selecting "Render as HTML" but this is really not a long-term option.

    Hi dmeiser,

Here's something to try.  Go ahead and check Disable AJAX within module configuration again.  Then edit your email event as desired.  Before you hit update, switch the editor radio button from Rich Text Editor to Basic Text Box.  Hit update and test again.  Let me know if this works for you.  Thanks!

    Candace,

Editing and then switching to Basic Text Box works. This is fine for a short-term solution, but is there a long-term solution in the works?

    Hello Matt,

It's definitely not surprising to see incompatibilities with this Dynamic Forms version 3.04.01 with DNN version 5.5.1. I say this mainly because this is a version of Dynamic Forms that didn't exist when DNN version 5.5.1 was released. Thus, there can be multiple inconsistencies not noted because there has not been testing between the two.

Dynamic Forms 3.4 does work with DNN version 5.5.1.

I would highly recommend upgrading your Dynamic Forms version to Dynamic Forms 3.4. Can you please follow this link Matt:

If you have any questions please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
