    I'm trying to calculate a Total value based on selections in two other questions. e.g. Q1 = product (radio button / combo box), Q2 = product options (check box list), Q3 = total price (Q3 = Q1 + sum Q2).

    How do I do this?

    HI, please take a look at our Form Demo 11 which demonstrates field calculations. If you follow the steps and still need help, feel free to respond here. -- David

    Hi,

    We downloaded demo 20 and got combo total calculation working. We then applied the same scripts to our own form (i.e. combo box 1 and combo box2 as well as in the module configuration/custom javascript - initial javascript and javascript file). We're getting a javascript error which says that the '$(total)' variable is not defined. Where is this variable declared in demo 20?

    HI, if you look at the entire javascript file, total is defined as:
    $(total) = parseInt($(Apples)) + parseInt($(Baskets));
    It's a hidden field to total up the number of Apples and Baskets where you pick from the drop down list. -- David
