    Hi guys,

I'm building a form using the new date display type 'month, day, year' combo box, which is a great new feature in DF 3.0.

However the required field validation dosen't seem to work for it, when I set it as a required field in Question Validation; the default values "Month" "Date" "Year" seeming to be accepted.

Is there any way around this, maybe a regular expression?

Also (not a big deal) but can I format it "Date" "Month" "Year", for European consumption?

    Best Regards

    Patrick Murray

HI, thanks for pointing this out. It seems required field validation isn't working on this date type. I will report this to our developer for fixing in the next patch release. I suppose you could set up regexx validation for month/day/year format. If you're saving the form data to an SQL table, you can perform an transformation of the date field to "Date" "Month" "Year" in your SQL stored procedure or use client side javascript to convert it to the right format in another field. Hope that helps. -- David

Did this ever get fixed? I'm seeing the same problem in 3.3.61
Or if there's a regex solution, I'd be keen on that?
