    Hi:

    I created a field/question in dynamic forms but can't seem to find a way to bind it to a field in the user profile.  I know dynamic registration can do this but I can't seem to be able to do this in dynamic forms. Am I missing something?

    HI, Dynamic Registration will bind to the DNN core user profile automatically. However, Dynamic Forms won't do this automatically. You need to create SQL completion event to insert / update the user's profile. If you need help with this, just post what your SQL statement is and someone or we can help out. -- David

    hmmm...I don't think I would even begin to know what SQL Statement to write to update a profile field. Do you know if are there sample statements anywhere that update the DNN profile data that I could look at?

    HI eLindy, although DF can be set up to perform profile updates using SQL, you will also need to use SQL binding on form load to retrieve the profile data as well so in essence, this may be more trouble than necessary. It would be more beneficial to use Dynamic Registration for the purpose of what you're looking to achieve. -- David
