    I'd like to request an enhancement to support large database. We currently have over 200,000 users in the OptInEmail table. The way the sql queries are written, it takes forever just to bring up the dashboard. Can you please look into rewriting the data access portion of this application so that it uses proper indexes and paging techniques?

    Hi. Thanks for your comments and suggestions. I agree, we need to test against some larger lists then our typical testing and development environments have... We have had many clients running lists in the 30k-50k range but this is the first I have heard of 200k or more. We will create a test environment and create some sort of process/SQL Cursor to insert that many records into the system... I know in the 4.2 upcoming release we have added paging for the reports (which is a big plus) but we should be able to test with a list this large while running SQL Server profile and see where the bottlenecks are.

    That would be great. It's been a pretty frustrating launch because there are very few module developers who really take the time to optimize their queries and indexes. Most don't test with large databases apparently. I've had to add proper indexing to nearly every module I've purchased.

    On a similar note, I'm running a trace on my database and am seeing the OptInEmail_GetOptInCategoriesByOptInID stored procedure called 3 or 4 times every few minutes. I can't figure out what is triggering the database call. I don't think anyone is going to the admin page that frequently. And on a database of this size, this query takes up to 40 seconds. Can you think of any place that would trigger this stored procedure? (I've also turned off the scheduler)
