I have a CheckBox group on my form. Whenever I test the form, selecting any of the items in the CheckBox group causes the AJAX Modal Popup to display. When the Modal Popup clears, all of the fields with a Mask Edit value are no longer masked. I do not have any Question Events tied to the CheckBox group, so why is it causing the Modal Popup to display, and why is the Modal Popup causing other AJAX functionality on the form to break down?

Strange.  What Dynamic Forms version are you using (from Host, Module Definitions)?  Also, what DNN version are you on?

Can you duplicate this over at our test site?  Please go to www.betasprings.com, log in with host / dnnhost, and just create your own page using Dynamic Forms as the parent page.  You can import your xml to this page if you like.  Let us know the results of your test and your test URL so we can review it further.  Thanks!

I found the problem. In the "DynamicForms_DynamicQuestionEvent" database table, there was a row for the CheckBox Group question that, I believe, was giving the option of adding an "Other" item to the CheckBox Group in the event that one of the existing items was not adequate. I seem to remember at some point there being a setting in the Question setup that could be selected to allow users to enter an "Other" value, although I cannot seem to find it right now. Somehow during the course of editing the questions I must have taken off the "Other" option, but the row in the database table stayed put. Once I manually removed the row from the database table, the problem with the CheckBox Group went away.

However, the problem still persists with any Question Event that occurs; the Mask Edit fields show the masks until any Question Event fires. Once the Event occurs, and the Modal Popup disappears, all of the fields on the form which have masks, no longer display their masks.

I am using DotNetNuke Version: 04.09.02 and Dynamic Forms version: 03.10.01.

I took your advice and set up a copy of my Dynamic Form on your test site at http://www.betasprings.com/Dynamic-...fault.aspx

To test it and see what I am talking about, please go to the form and scroll down to the question, "Have your driving privileges ever been suspended or revoked?" Before you click on the "Yes" option, click your mouse in one of the "From Date" or "To Date" fields that appear a few questions prior to the driving privileges question and see that the Mask Edit feature does work. Then click on the "Yes" option in the driving privileges question. The Modal Popup will appear as a Question Event occurs that makes another question visible based upon the "Yes" answer. Once the Modal Popup goes away, click your mouse in the "From Date" or "To Date" field again; the Mask Edit feature no longer works.
