We are working on a form that would fire off completition events and then (possibly) send the user to another form, with some of the fields already filled in for the user, based on the previous form.
Confused?
A user would fill out our Online Interest form, here:
http://www.gsnetx.org/Join/tabid/69...fault.aspx
If they selected that they were "not" interested in volunteer oppurtunities they would then get a confirmation email and we do a quick insert to a table we can report from later. The End.
(...or...)
If they selected that they "were" interested in volunteer oppurtunities they would then get a confirmation email and we do a quick insert to a table we can report from later, and then they would be forwarded to another page with a form we would use to gather more detail about how they would like to volunteer.
This second form, for volunteers, also needs to be standalone, which is why it has some common fields with the interest form, such as name, address, email, etc.
Is implementing a solution like this similiar to the usage of a Wizard or is it simply a HTTP post event with the shortnames and querystring values propelling the user into the second 'volunteer' form (if the conditions are met)?
(My apologies if this has been answered before!)
