     Hi There,

My DNN 5.x has Dynamic Forms 2.7 installed.

I am currently running a simple form that has 3 completion events. 2 of those completion events are dynamic email events.

I need to send an email off to our sales department with the generated form data. And a second email "confirmation" to the customer who submitted the form.

Unfortunately, I can only get one or the other to work. Both are pretty much constructed the same way.. the only difference is, is that whatever one I make first in the view order, will be the one that sends off an email.

does dynamic forms limit my dynamic email completion events to only one? If so, how do I come up with a viable solution in getting this product to do what I had intended.

I am using Gmail as the SMTP, and have verified that my portal is working correctly and SMTP settings shoot off email just fine. It's a matter of dynamic forms at this point, because like i said.. one or the other event will work.. but not both.

As a side note, I have both completion events set to "any field response" in there Dynamic Field setting. I've tried setting them both to different fields to see if maybe that would trigger both of them to work properly, but it doesnt.

    Totally Stuck.

    -Joe

Hi, strange but they should both fire. A couple of questions:
    1) what's the shortname fields for your two emails? Or is the email to the sales department hard-coded and the email to the customer an email token that the user types in their email address on a textbox field?
    2) what do you have in the To: and From: email fields of both email events? -- David

This is my settings for the email going to the customer (confirmation)

    This email uses the token.

This is my settings for the email going to the sales team:

This email event uses a hard coded email. I have tried with both hard coding a "from" address and leaving it blank..

From where I stand now, the salesteam email is coming over just fine. its the customer one that doesnt. If i delete the customer event and re-ad it, it will work.. and the sales team will stop.

    1) on your email event to the customer (confirmation), you h ave the "Dynamic Field" set to "Company Name" but the User Response is blank. Does this mean that you want it to fire if there's nothing filled out on the Company Name?

    2) On your sales team event, you have it set to fire on "any Field response" which means it will fire anytime the form is submitted.

Perhaps that's why the first event isn't firing. Can you change it to fire for "any Field response" for both and see if this will fix the problem?

also, can you check under "Admin / Event Viewer" to see if there's any SMTP errors or indication of problem issue? -- David
