I'm trying to create a multi-page form -- rather like a wizard, where you complete one portion and then click a Continue... button/link to move on to the next, etc.  I'm not finding any info on how to accomplish that with Dynamic Forms 2.3.

The problem I'm trying to address is that my original form was long and when it was submitted would take an inordinate time to process (the first time I tried, it took more than 20 minutes before it sent out the post-completion email -- and even then it never returned me to the post-completion 'Thank you' page).  I thought breaking the major form into smaller sections displayed on separate pages/panels in Wizard-like fashion would make that processing more digestible (for DNN and for the user).  But I do not find any info on how to do that.

    Any suggestions or pointers?

    Bill,

Hi. My first guess is that there is a bigger issue here. No matter how long the form is it should never take that long to submit. I send you an email about this late yesterday, please let me know if that fixed you up.

Also, as far as the Multi Page forms I am working on a better more formal response to another user as well. There are some workable solutions but still might not be exactly what you are looking for.

    Hi Chad,

I have the same problem. I have a 5 section form for users to complete when registering their 1. personal details, 2 Working conditions, 3. Specialities, 4. personal image, 5. Qualifications 6. Accept terms, captcha etc on our site. One form is simply too long for this and users will not complete it.

How do I create a 'continue to section 2. working conditions' link at the end of personal details and so on?

With users having registered their details, qualifications, image etc. how do I create a summary form such that people can search for a user and see their profile. This site is for personal trainers to register themselves and to promote their skills.

Your help would be much appreciated. kind regards, Elliot Charles.

    Hi Elliot,

I think our Demonstration 10 showcasing Multi-Page forms will be a very good place for you to start.  Hope this helps!
