Need help with Client Side Event and GrandTotal field

    I follow Demo # 21 but I run into one problem. For example this demo: http://www.betasprings.com/Dynamic-...fault.aspx

    Under Products, you tick on some boxes and it gives you the total down at MyTotal field. i.e. $79.99

    Then you go back up to Region dropdown menu you change to another selection. THen MyTotal value is gone completely but the checkbox "Dynamic Forms ($79.99) is still checked

    My question is how to keep the value in MyTotal stay intact on Client Side Events?

    The problem is that when you choose "Region", it causes a postback. What you want to do is copy the same calculation and place it under Module Configuration / Initial Javascript for it to execute on page load. I already did it for you.

    Additionally, a "read only" field cannot be used to pass values in a completion event. So what you want is to turn your "MyTotal" to a hidden field instead. -- David
