Authorize.net CIM Integration?

    Hi,

    I'm searching for a solution that would allow my customers to enter their credit card information securely into authorize.net's Customer Information Manager (CIM). The CIM is used to comply with PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards to securely store credit card information away from the Web site.

    There apparently is an API with authorize.net that allows integration with a Web site. I wanted to find out if your DR 4.0 module would allow:

    • Customers to enter their cc info for one time payments
    • Customers to enter their cc info for ongoing (recuring) payments
    • Updates to credit card information (change of cc info, expiration dates, etc.)

    Hi Thomas,

    We plan to offer more integration options for Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Registration with Authorize.net.  Some may or may not be easy to implement but have not been thoroughly researched yet.  Meanwhile, here's a thread on Authorize.net recurring billing but this might be limited for AIM only.  Thanks!

    Actually, I am not sure if it would be needed for me or not. I would like to setup recurring billing. Can Authorize.net be used for recurring billing without CIM and without storing credit card information on my server?

    Chris, Authorize.net has an automated recurring billing API, but I don't know that DataSprings ever implemented it. I use it manually to bill clients who have provided their cc information. But I have not used it through an API from the website.

    In theory it should be doable:

    Maybe someone from DataSprings can answer this too.

    Hi guys... Both Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Registration fully support Authorize.net ARB however the system does not support Authorize.net CIM at this time.
