Payment Gateway - Paypal 

We have completion event that works fine when gateway is turned of and allocates the role a okay.

We have a redirect to thank you page that works when gateway is turned off or when it is turned on

The payment is not subscription;

Pass through and billing works fine and money is collected 

Code is 

&item_name=SEWN Premium Account Special Offer $20&currency_code=AUD&amount=2.00&no_shipping=1&first_name=$(FirstN)&last_name=$(LastN) &email=$(Email)

Form Completion event to asign the role is ticked for;

Redirect Successful & Completed (standard)

As I say it does the redirect to the thank you page, create the user give standard roles (dnn defaults) etc but the premium membership role is not allocated (this is the only role being allocated)

The condition is on create and update & any field

Have been at this for hours and can't get it cracked - it all looks good  but just does not work.

We do have an onregister event that does run an sql script 

INSERT INTO AccountProfile (UserID, StashPublic, ProjectsPublic) Values ($(UserID), 0, 0) insert into dbo.UserStash ( UserID, IsPublic ) values ( $(UserID), 0 )

Which also works file in other forms and is working when gateway is turned off. If gateway is turned on and triggered by same Redirect Successful and Complete (standard) it does not fire so table is not updated

Email even fires either way gateway on or off

Hi Kevin,

Please check these usual suspects:

1.  Is your form visible to all users?  It needs to be for PayPal to talk back to it.

2.  Are your role events linked to PayPal Completed status?

3.  Also in that section,  from the dropdown list of events, is the Create User/Update User linked to Completed?

4.  From Admin, Event Viewer, can you see the Paypal-related logs and what's firing?  Is it creating the user account?

A few things to check when a role event is not firing:

1.  Is the event set to fire for any field response or for a specific response?  Check that it's not left at 'Please select..'

2.  Is the event tied to a completed status in Module Configuration, PayPal Gateway?

3.  Can you please give me a screenshot of the event viewer with the logs expanded so we can see the details?

4.  Lastly, what module version are you using (from Host, Module Definitions)?
