It has come to our attention during testing of Dynamic Registration with several browser types that the standard ASP.NET validation controls do not get fired off for some browsers such as FireFox. Because of this we researched several solutions for the best implementation and came up with several ideas.
1. Version 2.3 of Dynamic Registration (currently in beta) will include the option to choose between client side validation and server side validation. Client side validation fires off while the user is submitting the form and server side validation occurs once the user hits register or update. Besides several new validation features such as regular expression and compare validation, these new server side validation controls will give you more flexibility with your implementation of Dynamic Registration.
2. If you are currently running Dynamic Registration and would like to fix the issue with FireFox and some other browser types you can add a section to your web.config. This section needs to be included within the node of your web.config. A more detailed explanation and what to include can be found here:
Note: Make sure to make a copy of your web.config file before making these changes!!!!

An example of where to put the code within your web.config can be found here:

We have tested this solution with the most current release of Dynamic Registration and this solution does work.
