     Is there a way to change the vertical alignment of specific labels in a form?  For the most part, my form consists of single line text boxes but it does have a few check box groups and radio groups.  With my overall vertical alignment label setting set at 'middle' to accomodate the majority of the form, the others look a bit odd with the groups and should really align at the top.

    I've tried over-riding the style, adding !important to the style but since the label sits in a span, I can't budge it without referring specifically to the id of the cell that the label sits in - which sort of defeats the whole purpose of the style sheet.

    Short of identifying each cell I want to change and writing a specific style for each, is there an easier way to over-ride the settings of just a few labels in a form?

    Thanks in advance...

    HI, you should be able to create a brand new class and under each field that you want to use it, under Question Look/Feel, for the entry "Override label cell style class?: ", type in the class with the leading ".DynamicForms_aligntop".

    For example, under Module Configuration / Style Sheet, define a new classed called:

    .DynamicForms_aligntop {

    align: top;
    font-weight: Normal;
    font-size: 10.5pt;
    color: #000000;
    font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica;
    text-decoration: none;
    }

    I think this should work. -- David

    Hi,

    I'm writng to this thread as my problem is similar, and I tried what David has suggested but its not working.  I created a class, after selecting 'use custom style sheet' --> added my new class --> update style sheet --> update settings, then sepcified the class as David has suggested, but the question did not pick up the new style, and lost the old style.

    Also, when I selected 'use custom style sheet', I expected the style sheet to be exactly the same as the default except that now I would be able to add classes to it.  But no.  Without any changes to this custom style sheet, I chose 'use custom style sheet' --> update style sheet --> update settings, and my form's style changed quite a bit.  I feel the first step is to get this custom style sheet to look like the default, then add my changes to it.

    Thanks,
    Shefali

    Shefali,

    Hi. Can you please test this and let us know a test page on www.betasprings.com (sign in as host/dnnhost) if you can duplicate this there?

    Thanks,

    Chad
