    Hi

    I ran into an issue which I'm not sure how you resolve. I'm using DR and added several additional fields which are linked to DNN core fields (under Advanced Field Options).

    So here's my problem. The administrator was trying to update user's account data through DNN User Accounts. He sees the additional fields created by DR but he cannot edit those fields. The fields are all read only.  Also, those fields are only single line textbox even when some of the fields are createed to be used as text area.

    Is there a way of updating user account data created using DR via the DNN user's account?

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Reuben,

    Thanks for the details (including versions)! 

    I"m  not sure why they would be read only from the User Account section.  Let me suggest another way in.  From your Dynamic Registration, go to the module menu you find Settings, etc.  From here, click on Manage Users and you will get a list of your users or you can search.  When you select a user, you'lll be directed back to DR with all its fields and you can edit these fields as you need on behalf of your user.  You and your staff can do this as long as you have the admin role.  I'm almost sure version 3.2 already has the feature that allows you to assign specific roles (other than admins) to manage users.  See if you can edit your user's profile that way.  Thanks!
