Can we setup any options that wil allow users to fill the form in multiple sittings? (that is, filling a portion of the form, saving it (without submission and associated validation), pulling it again in a later session, completing and submitting it)

Hi,

This is not currently an option, will be in future releases though. There will be several methods of returning to a form and re-saving it, and there will also be a 'Save for Later'. We plan to offer certain events that will fire differently if the form is 'Saved for later' VS 'Submited'. The user will allow be able to navigate to a very unique URL (a token in a Dynamic Email Event for example) that will allow them to go back to the form and manage it etc... So you could potentially save the form for later and fire off an event that says 'Thanks for saving your form, click this link when you are ready to finish it...' etc...

When this is rolled out there will also be a seperate module available called 'Users Forms'. This module (at least the initial release of it) will display previous forms they have submitted and allow them to edit the form if they wish. Each form will have a flag to mark it as 'Editable'...

We are still outlining the exact specifications and design, any feedback from you guys is very helpful in this stage so please don't hesitate to let us know your implementation needs.

These updates should be within the next major release, probably by the end of the summer.

I can think of lots of applications where it would be nice to allow the user to re-visit a form, or come back and correct it later. A Payment form would be one. Also, allowing admins to make changes to a user's form, etc. Looking forward to this one. As it is, when someone saves a form it has to be just right. Any mistake? No going back. Even for a simple, one time questionnaire, which is how we use it now, there is not a way to show the user what they submitted and give them a chance to correct any 'mistakes' they may have made in the answers they are giving us.
