    Hello,

    I was wondering, if I am using DF to save to a flat database using SQL, is is possible to prevent it from saving to the relational DB that holds the form results?  It seems to be redundant to save my data in 2 places.

    Also, Is is possible to assign a style class to the save / submit links?  I am using some nifty skins that allow me to render links as buttons by assigning a predefined style class to them.

    Thanks - Jack

    Hi, there are two ways to accomplish this:
    1) you can pick the little down arrow next to the title of the Dynamic Forms module and traverse to Advanced Features / Advance Wizard. Here you can select which fields or check all fields that you want and choose from the drop down "DO not save field results to the database". Then check the box "Action" and hit "Run Action".

    2) Second method is to edit each question and under Advance Field Options there is a checkbox item for not saving that field to the database. -- David

    Thanks,
    I will give that a try.

    What about the submit links? Do you know if it is possible to assign a style class to them?

    HI, if you go to Module Configuration / Style Sheet and choose "Use Custom Dynamic Forms Style Sheet", you should find a style property:

    .DynamicForms_Link
    {

    }

    I believe this is for the link buttons. You can add properties here. Or you can choose the submit button to be an HTML button and choose in image button that you create for the submit. -- David
