    Last one, I promise.

I have a site where I direct users to affiliate sites. I created a form with a few fields of travel information (e.g., departure and arrival dates, city, state, etc). Is there a way to use these data in a dynamic URL when I redirect them?

For example, they choose July 20-July 22, Washington, DC; I then redirect them to, say, Marriott Hotel website and add these parameters to the URL, so the booking engine reflects a search for a hotel from July 20-July 22 in Washington, DC? I see this on a lot of sites, but not sure how to go about doing it.  the 'Dynamic URL' feature sounded like what I need, but not sure this is doable with Dynamic Forms.

Hi. Yes you can do this. Within each of the fields you can specify within the advanced field settings 'Pass field values to querystring' or 'Pass field values to session variables'. In your case you will want to pass them via a querystring and the module uses the fields 'Short Field Name' to do this. For example if you name your field First Name with a short field name of FNAME and then have the module specified to redirect to TabID 45 the redirection URL would end up being something like this:

    www.yoursite.com/default.aspx?TabID=45&FNAME=John etc...

There are other options within the advanced settings to 'Retrieve values from querystring'. This would automatically set the default value for the form field based on a querystring parameter and is useful in case you want to make send someone a link that would pre-populate a form field or possible pass data from another module into Dynamic Forms etc..

    Hope this helps!

    -Chad
