How would I go about creating link buttons for the DR module that would give the user the choice of going "back" to a previous form  or "Next" to the next form? I can do one or the other, but not both.

I would want both buttons to save the form results before going anywhere. - Thanks

HI, this type of scenario would work with Dynamic Forms (by placing two HTML buttons, calling the javascript function that the "Submit" button uses and setting redirection link to a previous form, etc).

However, I don't see why you would implement something like this using Dynamic Registration; the reason being that when submitted or saved, the user essentially registers or updates his / her registration so there's no need to save form results for going somewhere else. If you go somewhere else, that means they haven't registered yet and you would not want to save form results. You simply have HTML buttons to redirect them to another page instead.

I chose Dynamic Registrations because it will display the user's values whenever the user revisits the form. At this point I've got a 4 DR form registration process. And I do want to have Next and Back buttons on the forms. Can it be done at all with Dynamic Registrations?

Yes, I would recommend using either a text/html field or HTML button field and use the same javascript that is called from the Registration / Update Registration link buttons. -- David

Thanks for answering my many questions David. On this one, please tell me what javascript is called by the registration / update registration link buttons. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to find out this answer or where to look.

HI, in your browser, just right click on the Register / Update Register link button and choose option to "Inspect Element" and you should see the javascript that it's referring to. Hope this points you in the right direction. -- David
