I just installed DynamicForms_Module33_50_DNN45PLUS.zip into our portal running on DNN 5.2.3 and I am not get page exceptions when trying to open existing forms from ver 3.1

Help as always is greatly appreciated.

Hey Todd,

Does this error occur only when trying to access an existing DF page?  Do you get any errors if you try to load DF on a fresh page?  Thanks!

I tried to load 2 existing forms. I have not added any new instances to the site. I am in MS training today but will try adding a new instance this evening.

Hi Candace,

I updated the modulesettings table with the script from the support link above and I can add a new instance of the module a page without errors. I can not run any current forms; the forms error out with the error found below. Please see Event Log Entry below.. I also tried to Import a form into the new instance with no luck.

Any Suggestions?

HI, this might pertain to having Quick Edit enabled on old dynamic forms that have a lot of fields. Can you go to host / sql and execute the following:

update {objectQualifier}modulesettings set settingvalue = 'True' where settingname = 'DisableQuickEdit'

I have already ran that statement. When I try to import old forms from my old site, the forms do not run.

This issue has never been resolved. I just ran into it. We are running on 5.6.3 and 4.0. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys - This issue might be limited to 5.6.3 if you are both describing it with that same version.

A couple other things...

1. Was your installation an upgrade Boro or a fresh installation?
2. Do you receive this error on new forms or just on some existing forms?
3. Do you have the feature disabled for Quick Edit (this was the main issue we found where it was happening a few years ago when it was widely reported).

Hi Boro - So does this happen on existing forms only... Or does this happen if you even attempt to add a new module instance to a page?

You might still want to go ahead and execute that procedure to globally disable quick edits. I have seen a few instances where it was still necessary to run that query.
